They came with toast and potatoes - which it’s doesn’t say on the menu and was a nice surprise. Both my wife and I had omelettes which came out near perfect. The fact that the breakfast was actually awesome makes this a complete and total win. It’s also walking distance from where we stayed (Margaritaville) so more points. Enjoy !įirst off, it’s one of the only places actually open for breakfast so immediately it gets on the board. The truffle pizza had a beautiful crush, ample flavors but not overpowering and starter bread was moist and spongy.Īll in all a great experience for afternoon cocktails and I am certain dining must be just as good. The fried calamari were perfectly breaded and cooked. We ended up ordering a few items off the bar menu since we extended our stay and they also did not disappoint. The cucumber martini was superb, as was the espresso martini and you cannot miss out on the opportunity of enjoying a Vesper □ The cocktails are somewhat pricy, but worth it given the quality. The bar is also overlooking the ocean with 180 degree views of the ocean and pool area. We went to Dune to enjoy a cocktail and the beautiful view and we ended up staying for a few hours.įirst of all the ground are magnificent, gardens are impeccably manicured and maintained.Įlegant decor and stunning artwork in the public buildings, unfortunately I was not staying on site I can imagine how beautiful the rooms must be.ĭune was very enjoyable, they have a nice sized dining room overlooking the ocean with a covered terrace. We tried one of them and the wait was just as long but we were seated indoors in AC after showing our CDC vaccination cards. The food itself was terrific and almost worth the long wait! There are also some good restaurants within walking distance. The manager was really helpful and arranged with the chef for a special vegan menu for us. That was the other issue with the outdoor dining - the ceiling fans were not very effective, especially when you have to wait 45 minutes for the food to arrive. I had opted for an elevated hut but we didn't use the kitchenette because it was hot outdoors and one of my kids doesn't like flies. There were some signs of slight disrepair like missing or torn bug screens. The room was very cool in the July heat but we did have to keep the AC on. The property looks beautiful just like in the pictures. I chose this place over Atlantis and other kid friendly places because I wanted to stay closer to the ocean and away from the crowds. There isn’t anything close by that competes, so you are captive to what they offer at the times listed. They should just add a meal plan.Ģ) The restaurant hours were needlessly complicated. We bought three muffins and a sandwich for breakfast one morning for $50. Bring several hundred extra dollars just for meals. The slides are designed for the young at heart.ġ). They beat any aquarium I have ever visited - Multiple pools with threatened or endangered species. It was possible to find solitude in an amazing setting.Ĥ). The ground and fountains were creative and fun.Ģ) The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.ģ) The beaches. I give it four stars for the following reasons:ġ) The hotel is elegant and has everything you would need or want from a vacation. This is a wonderful hotel and I would stay here again.
